From February 2nd to 7th, 2026, the Church of the Badia di Sant’Agata will host the art exhibition “The Sacred in the Transparency of Precious Sicilian Filigree” by Master Tanino Golino. On display are works created using an original technique: dried prickly pear pads, carefully worked to produce textures, transparency, and filigree-like effects, with subjects inspired by the sacred and by traditional religious iconography.

Located in the heart of the historic centre, the Badia is one of the most recognizable sites along the Pulcherrima route: an ideal setting for an exhibition that brings together artisan expertise, natural materials, and religious imagery.

From February 2nd to 7th, the exhibition will be open every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the artist, who will be present on Monday, February 2nd, and Saturday, February 7th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
