Pulcherrima is a tourism and cultural promotion project initiated by the Archdiocese of Catania to link together some of the most important churches in the Etna region.
The churches of the Abbey of Sant’Agata – a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the Baroque architecture of the Val di Noto – along with those of San Giuseppe al Duomo, Santa Rita, the Holy Trinity and Santa Maria dell’Aiuto, together with the adjoining Casa di Loreto, form the centrepiece of a journey that blends tradition and innovation.
