The Church of the SS. Trinità in Catania is a historic building overlooking Via Vittorio Emanuele II, in the heart of the city centre. It forms part of the system of Late Baroque architecture recognised by UNESCO within the Val di Noto area and represents a significant element of the local cultural heritage.

On the occasion of the FAI Spring Days, the church will open its doors on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March 2023, offering visitors the opportunity to discover its history, architectural details, and some of the features that make this place distinctive.

The FAI Spring Days are an initiative of the Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (FAI), a non-profit foundation committed to the protection and enhancement of Italy’s historical, artistic, and natural heritage. The event aims to make places that are usually closed to the public, or rarely visited, accessible for an entire weekend, often with free admission, encouraging broader and more mindful engagement with cultural heritage.
