On Friday 12th December 2025 at 8.00 pm, the Baroque Church of the Holy Trinity will open its doors to “A Nuvena”, a musical event accompanying Catania on its journey towards Christmas through art, tradition, and spirituality.

The evening will feature the Orchestra della Camerata Strumentale Siciliana and the Coro Camerata Polifonica Siciliana, conducted by Maestro Giovanni Ferrauto. The programme offers a rich selection of Christmas-inspired music, designed to enhance the church’s acoustics and its unique atmosphere.

The event forms part of the project “Palcoscenico Catania. La bellezza senza confini 2025”, promoted by the Municipality of Catania and funded by the National Fund for Live Performance of the Directorate-General for Live Performance of the Ministry of Culture, with the support of the Sicilian Region – Department of Tourism, Sport and Entertainment.

Admission is free until all seats are taken: an opportunity to experience the Church of the Holy Trinity not only as a place of worship, but also as a space for music and shared cultural experience in the heart of Catania’s Baroque heritage.
